About
Seven years ago when I walked into my first Cosmetology School classroom, I didn’t realize I’d end up working as a colorist in the Gold Coast of Chicago. In fact, at that time, I didn’t know how to successfully shampoo a client without also sending their makeup down the drain. All I knew was that becoming a beautician was my calling, and I have never second guessed this calling since.
Fast forward six years, I’m a colorist at Maxine Salon-- a salon I remember viewing as the Harvard of hair in downtown Chicago. Thankfully, it has lived up to its reputation.
I can honestly say I wake up each day excited to go to work, and I am so honored to call each of my coworkers family. Many people are not lucky enough to experience that feeling, and I will never take it for granted.
After my years of training, I have a deep knowledge and confidence behind what I do, and my work is exciting, invigorating, and unique each day. Clients come to me with the expectation that they will walk out feeling more beautiful than when they walked in, and that is my goal for each client who sits in my chair. I am so grateful to my clients and the wealth of love and trust they give to me.
The photos I’ve taken of my clients and their styles are a sample of the many that have sat in my chair. My clients come from all walks of life, and they each have a unique story. My goal is to make each one feel as uniquely "them" and confident in the way they look as possible.
